As a Mentor, you will work with care teams, care workers, families, and case managers but predominantly, your time will be spent one on one with the young person.
You will provide guidance and support and will be a stable, safe, and reliable person for a young person to talk to, so those looking for on-going relationships will be given priority.
Contact Workers
The Position provides supervised contacts to children and young people in out of home care with opportunities to maintain and develop relationships with their family in a safe, supportive environment under supervision of trained staff. The contact worker is responsible for planning, supervising and reporting on contact visits.
